A person is in hospital after falling 70ft (21.3m) from a cliff close to Ballintoy Harbour in County Antrim.

Emergency providers have been referred to as at about 18:30 BST on Thursday after studies that somebody had fallen from Elephant Rock.

Coastguard rescuers and a lifeboat crew discovered the person acutely aware and respiratory.

He was taken from the scene by the lifeboat, earlier than a helicopter took him to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
