Ulster Unionists have expressed anger after a variety of YouTube accounts linked to marching bands had been closed by the video-sharing website- leading to tons of of hours of footage being misplaced.
Trever Wilson, chairman of the Ulster Unionist Councillors’ Affiliation, referred to as on YouTube to elucidate why, over the weekend, it selected to shut down a variety of accounts and take away footage of native marching bands.
He stated: “The native band scene is prospering and is a key a part of unionist tradition, offering a substantial amount of color and musical talent all through the summer time months, and is the supply of enjoyment and delight for tens of 1000’s of individuals.
