DUP hit out at man aiming gun at parade in controversial video (News)


The DUP has hit out at a person pointing what seems to be a gun at an Orange parade whereas sporting paramilitary-style clothes.

Within the video the person seems within the entrance room of a home, and factors the alleged weapon at passing marchers via the window.

The Randalstown parade passed off on Sunday afternoon.

It’s unclear whether or not the gun is actual or a duplicate.

DUP MP Paul Girvan stated the picture was a “deeply disturbing show of hate and intolerance aimed in direction of these collaborating within the Randalstown District parade”.

“This parade was made up of Orangemen, ladies and younger youngsters, making their method to and from a church service,” he stated.

“It’s past comprehension that somebody could be so warped as to decorate themselves up in paramilitary apparel and intention what seems to be a firearm at these on parade.

The footage was additionally condemned by UUP chief Robin Swann.
