Man suffers head accidents in Belfast New Lodge assault (News)


A person has been taken to hospital with head accidents following an assault within the New Lodge Street space of Belfast.

The incident was reported to police at round 7.30am on Friday 10 August.

Police and forensic officer spent a lot of the morning on the scene conducting their investigations.

The police didn’t disclose any additional particulars.

In a press release, the PSNI stated: “Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”

A spokesperson for the Northern Eire Ambulance Service stated: “The Northern Eire Ambulance Service obtained a 999 name at 7:28am on Friday 10 August 2018 following studies of an assault within the New Lodge space of Belfast.

“NIAS despatched one Emergency Ambulance crew to the incident.

“Following evaluation and remedy on the scene, one male was transported to the Royal Victoria Hospital.”
