Police referred to as to stories of a dysfunction involving numerous attendees at a marriage on the Edgbaston Cricket Floor

Police in riot vans needed to be referred to as to a marriage get together at Edgbaston Cricket Floor after a big brawl broke out.

A 38-year-old man suffered a leg damage and was taken to hospital amid the preventing, at 21:30 BST on Saturday.

West Midlands Police stated officers have been referred to as to a “report of a dysfunction between a big group of attendees at a marriage get together”.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and stays in custody.

Witnesses reported seeing a dozen police automobiles and riot vans outdoors the well-known stadium in Birmingham.

One onlooker, Kayleigh Elizabeth, posted on Twitter: “Main police incident – Edgbaston Cricket Floor , reverse Aldi.

“Appears like a automotive had been stopped. A dozen police automobiles and riot vans have flooded the world. Keep away from if doable.”

West Midlands Police stated inquiries have been ongoing.
