Two males arrested in reference to Northern Eire KKK gang probe (News)

Police have arrested two males in reference to a probe into a bunch of individuals dressed up as Ku Klux Klan members in Newtownards round Halloween.

A gaggle of individuals dressed up as members of the hate group on Saturday October 27 and posted for pictures outdoors the Islamic Centre within the space.

A 33-year-old and 36-year-old have been arrested in reference to the incident.

Police carried out quite a lot of deliberate searches at addresses within the Newtownards space on Thursday morning. A lot of objects have been seized and have been taken away for additional examination. 

The 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of displaying written materials to fire up hatred or arouse worry, and on suspicion of possession of a Class C managed drug.

The 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of displaying written materials to fire up hatred or arouse worry.

Each males have since been launched on bail pending additional enquiries.
